HPOP Reservoir EMPTY! Is this something wrong?

Should be a check valve in the block to keep the oil in the rez. Had mine drain down once and the truck would not start. Filled it up with oil and it started right up and has not drained down ever since. Must have been a piece of crud keeping the valve open and it passed. I think the valve is in the block behind the HPOP. You might be able to get to it with the HPOP on the truck so if you get things together try it out you might get lucky like I did. If not you can deal with the valve.

Do you think he will be able to deal with the valve with the HPOP bolted to the rez if it is behind the rez?
I am not sure of the location. Might be under the front cover but I do recall seeing a bolt on top of the engin that woul have the ball under it?
