Exclamation Turbo squaking please help im lost on this

well as you guys know I just did my injectors and the truck has been awesome so far, so I figured I would tackle that squeaking noise I mentioned a week ago and went to ford and bought new intercooler boots because thats exactly where it sounded it was coming from so I get both of them and put em on clamp em in turn the truck on and there it is still, could be my imagination but it seems louder and more horrible lol I don't understand what couldve happened this is such a simple job can someone point me in the next direction to go? was I supposed to put some type of gasket maker or glue substance on the boots? help!

You shouldn't need to put anything on the boots.

Did you happen to wiggle the shaft on the turbo to check the play?

you could try pulling the intake side of the turbo off and spin it by hand and see if it's the turbo. usually if a turbo is making a squeaking noise it ends up in about a thousand pieces though.

no I have not wiggled the turbo I did not think of that, I would like to add that when I am driving and boost builds it will make a whooom whoom kind of noise like rubbing top of crystal wine glass also when I drop off the throttle 100% it makes the whoom noise, this squeak is heard toward the passenger side and continues while driving and idle

I don't know how you can put the boots on wrong, or how torquing them improperly would cause a noise like that.

now that I remember when I did the injectors a few days and had everything off I wiped some gunk from around where the intake and turbo meet(nothing bad just a bit of dirt) and I spun it around and tried to move it and it didnt have anything abnormal wrong with it so I cannot figure out whats going on with this stupid hiss noise
