Patrick (I'm assuming it's Patrick?) , is that an aftermarket item? I've never heard of one being installed at the factory, but who knows!

Its actually a factory installed item. Ford calls it a vapor valve.

No, its on top of the tank, dead center toward the front. I sent the dang tank back today and got one comin' without the hole in it! Lol!
