32"s should fit, but swampers might get you in trouble. The lugs are larger than that of a standard tire, which will probably rub. One thing you can do is shim the bumper out a bit. That might give you a bit more clearance. One thing you might have to look at is backspacing. 32"s normally fit, but you might need to change rims to accomplish what you want. I am sure others will chime in here.

My 88 Has 32x 10.5" All terrains and it rubs at full lock especially over bumps,
my 10.5's cut a bit on the front fenders if I'm really off-camber
my 81 had nearly bald 35's that rub less (on the frame and rad. arm) than my 32's buy they are on very offset rims and stickout the fenders, It looks great, but not to the police.
btw. there's no sheet metal in the way on my 81, the fenders are cut larger.
