salvage yards near winchester va

hello folks just a quick question - does anyone know of any salvage yards or pick-a-part lots - whatever they happen to be called their the same basic concept lol near winchester?

i see ur new around here...welcome aboard! can't help u with winchester though, but if you're ever down by the beach, i know where everything is

lol thanks i try to avoid the places like DC, alex, va beach, and richmond lol just WAY too much silly *poo* that goes on in those area's lol

mainly just lookin for a tailgate and e-brake system for my 86 f150

for now....... lol

hmmm...i could say the same about winchester lol ; P i hide out here in pungo, which is virginia beach's best-kept secret. we're just a bunch of crazy rednecks with jacked up diesels

have you tried craigslist or ebay? or ask around on the section of the forum for ur truck? i have gotten some awesome deals worked out over on the obs powerstroke forum.

The only one i know of close is in Bentonville it's called hillbillys, old biker runs the place real good kinda small selection, but has some older trucks, not expensive

Yeah, it's small it's one of those towns that you pass through an you don't even realize you did unless you see the signs, its north of Luray, last time i was there he did have some 80-86 & 87-96 models there. most are all there just some pieces missing from other people. I got some parts that one in dumbfries wanted 100+ for i got for 10 bucks haha

lol hell i might go today but i'll prolly wait till the wife gets paid 8P good salvage yards can be kinda addictive lol - in one respect i wish i still lived in cali lol i had a friend out there who ran a salvage yard and was a machinist - got him to fabricate me a performance tranny and rebuild a 350 for my camaro for 150 bucks lol

ok, my friend says there is one on roundhill rd in winchester (G and G auto recycling) ph#800-368-0854. they say they specialize in years 85 to present...prolly the best bet.

i have no clue if that's remotely near u, but he is the only one i knew to ask up that way lol
