my 74 f100 240ci i6 3-on the tree, manual steering, no a/c, manual windows. All origional, i'm the second owner, bought it from my grandma when grandpa passed away. He owned it for 35 years, he bought it from the dealer with 2k miles on it.

These are pic's of when we first went and got it from the farm.

Of all my trucks, this one has been the most time consuming to bring back to life and start the restoration.

Nice pics and story, it's nice to get a piece of Family History.

This is Ol'Blue. Not from today, but from the 18th as I was heading off to work. I'll be back in a couple weeks and try and get her running a little better.

Minus the ladder rack, that looks like it was straight off uncle Jesses farm, bent down bumper and all. Nice job on the resto. Cool its still in the family.

I know you posted this quite awhile ago, but.......... Finally found/bought a 78 250 supercab 4x4. Been try to decide the color scheme I'll eventually go to when I can afford to paint. I've been thinking about black/silver, but the white really looks sharp. Do you have pictures of the interior? I'd really like to see what you did with colors inside. Thanks

What an awesome amount of beautiful originals, mods, resto's and projects!! Kudos to everyone here for making Henry proud!!

For anyone interested, this is my heritage....
First Four-Wheel Drive, WHi-40907

My current Dentside inventory…..

“Old Brown”
1975 F250 4X4 Pacific Coast Highboy Explorer Custom, having original FT360 pulled after several sets of heads and 130K-some miles. It received one of my ‘66 FE390GT race motors de-tuned and re-cammed for that necessary torque. The rest of the truck is all original (including paint, interior, C6 trans, and 203 T-case), excluding Rancho RS shocks, custom-ordered Hedman long-tubes and full-length aluminized 2.5” dual exhaust. I purchased this truck in early 1980 from the original Owner, who instantly regretted selling it. It’s seen a life of work truck, wood-hauler, off-road play truck (we had a 4WD club for 12 years back in the 80’s/90’s), cruiser, boat-puller, and finally back to its current glory of occasional therapy tool. I love driving this truck, and enjoy the looks, comments and offers I get whenever it leaves the driveway. My boys all tell me that it is not allowed to ever leave the family.
I even have the original “Ford” factory fiberglass topper that came with the truck from the dealer .
Old Brown currently sports 35x12.50/R16.5 BFG AT’s, but has had a previous history of several sets of Dick Cepek Fun Country’s and Ground Hawg 38.5’s (with no lift).

“Shorty”
1977 F100 4X2 shortbox. I bought this several years ago as a project, which I’ve wanted to do for quite some time. It had already been slightly modded, and had most of the body work done. A 1970 351W sets in the motor bay, with shorty coated headers, Magnaflows, a C6 w/ratchet shift and Dana rear. My goal is to turbo the Windsor, add a Crown Vic front, and tub/4-link the rear with an 8.8 (drastically lowered). It’s a project-in-the-works. It will eventually get a new two-tone black over copper paint job when the mechanicals are all completed, along with 20” rims. The 15x10's shown are long-gone, and it now rides on some 2005 Dodge 5-spoke chrome 20’s (sorry, no pics, but it actually looks pretty good). I originally wanted to set it up for straight-line quarter mile pounding, but have decided to retire it to a life of cruising, with the ability to push the skinny pedal and raise my heart rate.

Here's Alice. I just stepped outside a few minutes ago and snapped this. She still needs work, but she's my daily driver and shop truck, so I can't be without her for very long. Any work I do has to get done in a day or two.
