Waiting for the end of Winter

Waiting for the weather to stay nice, afraid on the salt of a PA winter, lots of plans for the old man this year.

Waiting for Winter to be over, all snug under its cover.<br/>

Thumbs up Tranny Drain Plug Insert Kit thingy....

Decided to keep my stock pan and massage the flanges yesterday, get things straight and level ...... but really wanted a new pan with a drain, soooooo I put one in ! Its the Dorman/Needa/(fill in the blank cheepo auto store brand) 1/2" insert kit... and yes I used a cue tip with VersaChem#2 non-setting sealant on the insert threads (not the plug threads) and nylon wahsers.. yes i know its going to blow up my tranny .... Let it sit over night and bam, water test this morning on the wife's granite counter top and No Leaks ! and this was supposed to be in the 'what did you do to your truck today' thread......good lord...

Took it out for a short run today as the roads were dry. Needs a wash pretty bad!

I washed my truck for the first time since I got it. Also shampooed the carpet. It came out pretty decent. Smells nicer inside too.

It doesn't show real well but I was able to get all of the fuel stains off of the paint around both fuel caps.

close but no cigar....
I knew it wasn't a 56 due to the thin trim on the side,
56's where wider and had vent/ribs near the tail lights
