The story on the blue truck is that it was purchased in NC back in the early 80's then it was driven to mass and parked in a barn since the early 80's
Hasnt been driven since!
That truck looks like it beats up other trucks and takes their lunch money. Sinister.
My thoughts were that most people would say "what an old piece of junk". Whereas I, and I'm sure pretty much everyone who is a member here, would say "that truck is in pretty good shape!"
But I really like your description better, Dewd! (having the cemetery in the background doesn't hurt either ...)
I just cleared another 6 inches of powder off of the hood and cab. 24 inches current accumulation. Couldn't crawl under it to install new shocks if I wanted to, which I don't at the moment.
This is my first post on the forum. I have owned a bunch of old Fords over the years, but I like this one. 78 SB 4x4 C6/460 . my intent is to build the engine to 503 or so and do some other things to manage that power. stance and exterior will stay as is.
I've been looking for the right truck for about 3 years. finally found the right platform to start the build, and stole at an auction down in Florida last week.
