Bought a car

We bought a car this weekend, something cheep and decent on gas for me to drive to work and save miles on the new truck when it comes. We bought a '97 Mercury Sable from Centennial Ford with only 140,000kls on it for $3500. It was owned by a couple in there 80's and is in great shape.

you should have bought a street bike for summer commuting, then used your truck in the winter...

Believe me! the thought crossed mt mind but then I couldn't take the baby with me if i needed.

I wanted to trade the wife's Escape off on a new fusion but that would have started world war three!!

maybe i missunderstood... i thought the car was for going back and forth to work... in my mind, that does not include the baby trust me, there's going to be days when you wish you had a bike to clear your mind of fatherhood problems. i say that, and our little girl has been the best

The car was bought mostly for going to work and you are right that won't include the baby, but now that we have the car I'm thinking of more uses for it like going to the city for shopping and other stuff to save miles off the other vehicels. Also to take it down the gravel when we go visit friends on that live on farms to save the other vehicels from stone chips. I guess what i'm saying is the truck is going to be spoiled except for pulling the camper and boat, but this truck is going to have to last me a lot longer than the '07.

sounds like a nice car for a very good price. I have a feeling you will get good value out of it.
