Question for the FTEOCJU

my understanding is the Wal-Mart Supertech oils are made by Pennzoil/Quaker State. It is supposedly shipped to Wal-Mart from them anyway. Quality wise is probably along the lines of Wolf's Head motor oil made by the same which when I lived in Ohio was sold a lot there and I think in Pennsylvania as well. Lots of talk about it at www.bobistheoilguy.com Some there really like it and it does seem to have pretty good specs. Hope that helps.

Question for the FTEOCJU

By the way you should know that it is probably a group III motor oil as is Castrol/Pennzoil/Havoline etc. Probably not what you would want to use for extended drain intervals. Mobil1 is likely the only over the counter synthetic for that. It is the only PAO/Ester based OTC oil in most cases. For 3000-4000 miles or so it should be fine. In my opinion a lot of dino oil is almost as good as group III synthetic. Mobil1 has been great in my wife's Explorer though.....
