I need a new truck, My silverado is doing some strange things since she hit 150,XXX miles. Smelling oil and coolant while driving sometimes (mostly highway),random puddles of fluid under the hood,high fuel usage,etc..

I'm looking at getting a almost impossable truck to get F250 XLT Ext. Cab long wheelbase in a dark color. Can't decide on if I want gas or diesel yet.
I can get one now that has a 5.4L for $27K and its a 2010 model.

I want to get the 2011 model for all the improvements made to it but not sure how much longer the silverado will last. If it dies,I'm screwed. I read that the new models will be released in spring of '10. Then april of '10. Does anyone have a certain date or has that been released yet?

I was at a local dealer a few days ago and asked a buddy who works there about it. He said they were suppose to get a few in at the end of this month. I know dont know how accurate that is or any other info.

 

they are being shipped now. You can go to Ford.com, then go to trucks and enter your zip code and do a search.

You need to consider how you are going to use the truck to help decide between gas or diesel.
