in need of floor pictures for 59

So i know there a number of poeple on here rebuilding 57-60s and that pretty much means replacing the floor. My 59 was severely rusted in the front cab corners when i got it and i went through and replaced it but i was 14 and didn't know what the heck i was doing so im going back and redoing the floor again. Problem is that between the rust and then my crappy repair and bondo im not really sure just how some of the pieces go together. If someone could post some pictures of the front corners and cab mounts i would really appreciate it. i really need how the door pillar meets the floor and how the step plate goes forward. And also the cab mounts would be nice to see. Any pictures of the detail of the floor would be really appreciated so next time im home maybe i can start working on this again.

Look in my gallery in the 58 project. I have a few pics there of how I fixed mine. As far as the cab mounts they are actually in the floor. LMC has all the replacement panels you may need except the front cab pilars. We had the fab new metal in. The pieces that I could only find at LMC are the front cab braces.
Here is a pic of what LMC offers.

hey thanks and your project looks really good. what i really need to know is how the door pillar meets the floor. I think the step piece is continued forward in a narrow strip that makes the floor of the corner and then the door pillar connects to that with a flange and a couple of spot welds but im not sure which way or how big the flange is. im sure that clear as mud but hope somebody can help.

OK, The kick panel (item 5 in the pic) extends up to the front of the cab corner and is spot welded to the door pillar. The floor pan set under the lip of the kick panel and welded to it. We cut the new floor pan down to only replace what was rotted. The angle of the floor pan at the firewall was welded back to the floor pan. As with all the repro panels we had to do some tweaking when fitting. I hope this explains it a little better.

ok thats helping some. if you could snap a pic of where the front of door pillar (where the hinges go) meets the step that would help me out a lot as ive lost a lot of the details in that area that im going to have to recreate. That and im forming all my own panels as im a cheapo and can do it myself. Thanks for the help you have been though.
