Is a 1995 5.0 ho engine compatible with a 1986 computer?

Depends on whether the 95 is MAF for starters. If it is, no. There may be other discrepancies that I am not recalling right now... @ work with Cavo, Lifehouse and Daughtry concert blaring in my ears from the arena.

I'm using the lower and upper intake maniful from my 86 engine. I switched to the firing order to the 95 ho engine. It does not want to start. Dont know what to do.

Is the 95 a mass air equipped engine? Which wiring harness are you using?

Yes it was maf. I'm using the 86 wiring harness.
