Reviving this old thread!!! Want to know after last year did you get the truck picked up and are you driving it?

I have been looking into pickup up a 2wd 1994 F350 considering long road from now but a 4x4 swap and ditch the 7.5 and complete diesel swap.

Like I said a long road but these posts are inspiration for a project that may come a couple years from now. Getting the truck for next to nothing... By that I mean trade of another vehicle that only cost $500 so a 1994 F350 CC long bed for $500 in California with no rust, I think is a steal for a project down the road.

Hell I'll give ya $500 for it.. But yes, that sounds like a very solid foundation for a project.

Yes the guy was on Cl who inherited the truck doesn't want it due to it being 7.5L and wants a small car to trade for. He has other offers and was selling truck for $1500. No back seat I guess I should have more photos this weekend. Says it runs good maybe exhaust leak which I'll investigate but again this is a project for down the road. I could buy a 4x4 truck without diesel for $3500 California shape so nice then source Diesel cummins or power stroke but what fun would that be so I figured why not build it from scratch. Painful, long, and money will be the factors but I'm up for it. I'll need to start a new thread so I don't keep using this old one but thought I share.

My car is 2000 eclipse 5 speed GT V6 with 140k miles I got from a guy deploying overseas didn't want to take with him and only cost $500-needed new rear tires and I replaced rear brakes and rotors but other than that I'm considering trading for his truck.

Help!

Hello,
I'm new to this website primarily for 1 reason, help!
I'm swapping my 460 with over 360,000 miles on it to a 96 7.3 ID in my 97 F350 Crew Cab.
I got everything swapped over from a donor truck, only thing I need to do is complete the driveline and transfer case.
But I'm stuck on the throttle pedal. Is there anyway to switch the pedals without having to take the harness from the donor truck?!
I have went over all the wiring but fail to find a way without using the harness.
Thank you.

Hey I'm swapping a 96 7.3 into my 86 F-250. Most of the engine bay is cleared up now and I'm wondering how to go about the wiring. Seen this post so figured your the guy to talk to.

Just popping in to say excellent write-up and I'm adding this comment as a place holder for this thread. I am looking to do the same (well, close enough). Hope you got your truck back from storage!

What happened?

I just recently found this thread and I thought it was great. Now I am left curious about what happened, especially since it's nearly been 10 years since the OP's last update.
