Looking for a new engine

No I didnt blow the truck up. I actually blew my car up last year and just got around to looking at it. well needless to sat as the title does it for me. I am in the market for a new motor. I can go with anything from a 289 to a 427 in the late 60's and carborated. It is for my 68 mustang. If you know of anything let me know.

have a 400 thats in my 79 Bronco that I'm trying to get rid of. It doesn't have a carb but many newer parts, did run before carb was removed..... tranny can go with it to.... c6 auto.... email works best, bahanovi@mtu.edu thanks
