Hi!

I'm new to forum. I have 1992 F150 with 5.8 engine. I went on Car-Part.com--Used Auto Parts Market and looked for used engine 1988-93 and 94-96 engine are listed separately. Will 94 351w direct fit to 92 f150? What is the difference between 92 5.8 and 94 5.8 engines? I looked pictures the look the same to me.

one has a roller cam i put a 94 5.8 in my 92 in place of a 5.0l i took the 5.8 computer and swaped it in instead of using the 5.0 comp but it runs like a top

 

The '94+ motor has a better cam but is otherwise identical so it's the one to get, it will run fine on your existing EFI system too.
