LOL! I cant say I blame her, She did happen to notice the grill and headlights right away Guess I forgot to mention them

Here is a better pic of the bumper you can see the winch bay is pretty huge, houses up to 16.5 Warn and Superwinch.

One thing I am not crazy about is the tabs for the lights on the bar, I am never going to put lights there so I may cut them off. I also plan of fabbing up a plate to cover the winch bay so i have a nice place to stand as well.

Do it man! I bet you could get an even better deal! When I was on the phone with Jody I asked for the "I post on the same forum as Justin discount" but dude said no.

You can do it with as few parts as headlights and a grill from an 05, minor trimming of the grill is required to make it fit with 99-04 bumpers. If you do a search on this forum or over in superduty GD you can find a ton of posts.

Thanks for the pic Walt. There's all kinds of room for a winch.

Maybe the wifey is going to get you a winch for your B-day.

40 % OFF at Top Gun Customz. WOW LINK

Front of the truck gutted. The black brackets on the frame horns is where the new bumper mounts up

2005 header panel mounted up and a dry fir of the 2005 Road Armor bumper.

Harley edition headlights installed. XL grill installed.

So everything went pretty smooth. With exception of the bumper every piece I used was OEM and I am glad I went this route. The parts bolt up perfectly and include all the hardware/speednuts/u bolts that don't generally come with aftermarket stuff.
I dont like the huge logo on the bumper so I will prob cut it out and fab up a piece to cover the hole. Also need to get some lights for the pods.

A big thanks to Clay for the Harley lights, they look dang good.
A big thanks to ED as well, Even in the midst of combining Horizon/y2k Ford parts he was able to get me the XL grill and header panel right before I needed them.
And more thanks to FTE, you guys answered my questions and helped me navigate the conversion, I knew what I was going to do even before I turned a screw

I got my Road Armor bumper thru Top Guns Customz.

Please feel free to ask any questions

dude, looks sweet.

it will look so sweet on my rig... really much better then what's on my truck now!

now all I need is a tailgate, I have a rear 08 chrome bumper I plan on installing.

Just pulling up an old post during a search.

I just ordered a Road Armor Titan 2 bumper for my 04 Excursion from Top Gun. They said it should be here in about 3 weeks.
Do you have any install tips for me? And also what type/brand lights did you go with?

Thanks,
Jerry D.
