I was killing time looking around in the forums and ran across this. I just wanted to jump in and say I have enjoyed reading it and looking a all the pictures, they are nice as for referance. At present I still like a few finishing touches haveing my 350 finished, if that is possible, i'm beginning it thank it's a never ending thing. In years past the truck was in a finder binder and the front cap was replaced and the SCS badges were not replaced. Thanks for all the good info and pictures. Here is a picture of mine

 

I recently bought a 77 Super Camper Special, I'm in desperate need of a rot free "SPARE TIRE DOOR" !!, steering wheel with cruise control, rear slider, I may be even interested is selling it, I own three and really don't need another, I just dont wanna see more of these disappearing and melted down for toyota's. It gas a 400, C-6, fantastic cab mounts, frame, floors, cab corners. I put a new waterpump, new distributor, regulator, cap-rotor-wires, radius arm bushings. Needs spare tire door or repair, some rust on bottom of doors, bottom of both quarters towards the bumper have a rust hole the size of a potato, rest of the bed is solid. I still would like to sell my 77 camper special(140 inch wheel base)Had a Marti report done,only 40 produced my color and trim.The truck just turned 3,046 miles,yes 3,046 miles I have documentation to show true miles and plenty of pics,pics don't do justice.$20,000 firm

 

I own one of these with a 390. 2wd but the previous owner has installed duel wheeles on it.
I need a Fuel sender for the rear plastic tank. D7TZ-9275-E.
Anyone know where to find it?
I also have a spare truck like it.

 

I don't know where you could find one but I would be interested in parts off the other truck.any pics of the other truck?how is the gas tank in the other one,I know someone looking for one.where are you located?

The float is made from two pieces of copper soldered together. Solder breaks down, gas seeps in, float settles to the bottom of the tank.

Original owner put duel wheels on it.

Get a sending unit for a 84 BroncoII. Modify it to work. Closest you will find to a new replacement.






The fuel line spigot will need to be bent straight to clear the cross member.
