Need a Speedo Gear

The big fat one inside the tranny. For a 62 144 CID with the 3 speed and 3.50 rear end. 6 teeth.

Anyone have a good one they want to sell? One from a 62 Falcon has a slightly bigger hole and wobbles on the shaft just a little.

Thanks.

Speedometer: DRIVE gear = On the output shaft / DRIVEN gear = at the end of the cable.

There are two 6 tooth DRIVE gears (on the output shaft): One was used 1961/62, another in 1963/67.

CODR17285A This one is listed for 1961/62 / Obsolete / No Ford Dealer or obsolete parts vendor has any.

DOTZ17285A replaced B7C17285A This one is listed for 1963/67 / Available from Ford

The closest sources to you that have some are:

SAM PACK'S FIVE STAR FORD in Farmers Branch TX has TWO = 972-242-5117.

PARTS INTERNATIONAL in Farmers Branch TX has FIVE = 888-727-0418.

Antique Auto Supply in Arlington does not have any.
