Need Some Information - F150
I am a member if this site, but the last time I was on this site was 4 yrs ago, when before I traded my 2004 F150 FX4 for a 2007 Toyota Tundra CrewMax. I am looking at getting rid of the 2007 Tundra and looking at a 2010 Ford F150 FX4 and have some questions:
1) Who has racked up the most miles on their new bodystyle F150? What have been the major issues and at what mileage.
2) Reliability of the 6 spd transmission.
3) I understand the FX4 has an electric locking rear diff. How is this holding up.
4) What is been the most problematic area(s) of this truck.
5) What is a decent price for an FX4, I have a dealer with 1 for $32,000 and another for $34,000 (Dealer keep rebate).
I pretty much will use the truck for towing a cargo trailer (7000#), lots of freeway driving, and when I hunt it will see some 4x4 action.
Your thoughts/comments are appreciated.

the 6 speed is great... there have been a few on here complaining about "harsh shifts" but most of those go away after they give the adaptive shifts time to learn your style and for it to break in. More often than not it is just the driveshaft splines need to be lubed from sitting on the lot too long.
32 and 34 sound good for an FX4... but you didn't elaborate much from there... A SCREW is obviously more pricey than a SCAB and there are a ton of options out there to rack up the price. In any case, 32-34 does sound competetive.
The locker seems to be working great, no problems here and I don't think I've heard anyone complain.
Mileage on an FX4 SCREW 6.5 bed seems to be around 18 combined for me, with almost 20 on grandma highway driving.

Not a direct answer to question #5, but it may help "ballpark" it:
