We got off today at noon with pay for the rest of the day! I came home and started working on Randy's Bronco and what a day. I was putting in the oil pump drive rod and missed the pump lol. It fell into the ol pan so I had to drop it in the truck and reach in to get it out. I hope the rain holds off tomarrow so I can ge tthe pan back up.

Well got the pan back up in his truck this morning. Got the distributor in it as well. Now to get some gaskets for the carb and I might be able to fire it up. He still can't drive it tho. WhenI had him pull the front wheels we found that the wheel bearings are totally gone lol. Oh well whe nhe is done with it it will be a nice truck.

Glad to here you got that fixed buck. I finally have a trans on the way. Its a 89 aod with mild shift kit and 79000 miles on it. just waiting on my nephiew to pick it up. he bought a combo of motor and trans from 89 5.0 stang for 500 and he sold me the trans for 100. So I cant wait to get this thing in as mine is leaking so bad its running down the drive shaft and dripping off the diff.
Man I don't envy you. I have pulled and replaced so many trannies in the last year I could do it with my eyes closed lol. But i do have one more in the future, whe nI swap mine out for a stick. Hopefully for the last time for a lond time lol!!

Yes the weather has been much needed. My wife and I took the baby on his first picnic Friday afternoon and we all had a blast. That is all the enjoyment I got out of the weather so far as I had three exams this week. So I had to spend a good bit of time studying for them. Now that I am caught up I think the baby and I will do some walking the next few days.
We will be out of town the weekend of the 16th for a wedding, so what do you all have planned for the rest of the month?

Saying a person carrying a gun is out looking for trouble is like saying that by wearing a seat belt you are looking to get into a violent accident...
Well as for me hopefuly get the trans swapped and getting most of the body work done on the truck. Other than that get some quality time in with the family and I have the gun show this coming Friday with my son and dad.
My kids are comeing this weekend (get them for my birthday lol). Other than that we will just be wrenching on Randy's truck. Oh ya and get the garden going.

How many know what a 3 on the tree is!!! I learned on a 66 F100, that had the 3 on a tree too. Congrats Buck. You will look good behind the wheel of that car.
Thanks guys. I also learned and took my drivers test in a 72 maverick with 3 on the tree lol. My dad always wanted to shot me cause I would rest my hand on the shifter while driving. He said that was a good way to wear out the linkage lol.
