any idea how much that rebuild or installing a dif engine in will cost?

didnt know LMC did camaros... thought they just did trucks...

well mine was $300 for the complete engine at a junkyard.. $350 for the rebuild kit...

k how much did you get charged to have them put it in or did you do it yourself?

did it myself... had my neighbor true up the cyls and make sure the head and block were cracked... (my stock blocked cracked lengthwise down cyls 1 and 2 thats why i had to replace it)

unfortunately i seriously doubt i have the tools to do that

ratchet set, torque wrench, piston ring compressor and some plastigauge is all you really need...

sears has some nice tool sets for about 300 bucks... least use to last time i looked... got anywhere from 150 sum pieces to 300 sum pieces... just depends which one you get...

i have the brake, engine and steering suspention kits i think in mine... need to get me a ring compressor someday.. been using dads every time ive had to...
