Nebraska's official April BS/Chat thread!

Good morning guys! Another nice day around here... the weather weanie was saying on the news last night that our humidity was only 15% yesterday. Man, I love that!
I decided to drive the 79 today since it's so nice out. After I dropped the kids at school, I stopped in at my favorite Casey's to grab a coffee. I pulled in next to one of those Lincoln pickups, can't recall the model, but they look like a fancied-up F150. Anyway, I hop out just as an older gentleman (probably mid 60's) is coming out of the store towards the Lincoln. He stops me to ask about my 79, and we chat a few minutes while he thoroughly inspects the truck. He really likes my truck, said he had bought one brand new back in the day and wished he kept it. No surprise there, I hear that story a lot.
So, as it usually always happens, he asked me if the truck is for sale. I laughed and gave him my "everything is for sale at the right price" line. He said, really, he's serious, and wanted to know what it would take for me to part with the truck... Uh oh, um, I'm thinking this guy can't be for real... So I told the guy that my other love is motorcycling, and the only way I'd even think about selling my truck is if I got enough to buy another Harley, and it would take about $16,000 for me to get the bike I wanted.
He said "done deal" and extended his hand for a hand shake... I'm like, "your kidding, right"? He said "no way, I'm dead serious, and if you want, we can go up the street to Wells Fargo bank right now and make it official".
I kind of just stood there dumb-founded and mumbled something about needing to get to work. He said "no problem, the bank is open now (it was after 8:00 by that point) and I'll take you to work when we are done".
We did the deal, the bank had a generic bill of sale we filled out, and I just have to get the title to him. He gave me a ride to work in the 79, then headed back over to pick up his wife and go retrieve his Lincoln. So here I sit at work with no truck, but a nice little sum in my Harley fund... My wife thinks I've totally lost it and is trying to line up a psychiatrist for my soon to come "what the heck did I do" mental break down. I just hope she comes and gets me at lunch time so I can get home to get the other car, and the title for the truck.
I'm crazy, I'm crazy, I'm crazy...

You are so in trouble with me Rob......
Heehee....16K for the 79?? Hell, yes, I would have sold it too! Now, you need to take that money, before you do something goofy(like buy a motorcycle) and get yourself ANOTHER TRUCK!!
