Welcome to FTE. You posted in the 2009 - Present F150 section but if you go to Bio-diesel, Propane & Alternative Diesel Engine Fuels - Ford Truck Enthusiasts Forums they should be able to help you with your propane conversion.

Also you can try the 1987 - 1996 F150 & Larger F-Series Trucks - Ford Truck Enthusiasts Forums section for more specialized help for your year of truck.

Hope this helps.

Please give me some info on the equipment used and i will try to help. First blush sounds like you have an air leak between the mixer and throttle body.

regards

Sorry for the delay, That mixer is ok but the CA300-50 series would flow more air. I assume this is spliced into the air tubes coming from the factory airbox? If so you need to make sure all of the connections on the engine side of the mixer are tight, if you leak air there it would cause the issues you are having. If you could post some pic's of the system it would help. The mixer could also be sticking the "piston" (air valve) in the center needs to move smoothly as airflow into the engine is what makes it work, If it is sticky it could also cause you issue.

let me know

Regards
