4.5 inch backspacing wheels/ 35 inch tires/ 3inch lift
I just got back from deployment and am ready to mount my rims and tires. However, when I placed the rims on the truck the 4.5 backspacing makes them stick out a bit. I am getting a 3in lift put on the truck (2006 F-250) this Friday. I was wondering if anyone had any fitment problems with 4.5 backspacing and 35 inch tires? That's the size I'd like to run, 35s. Any and all help is greatly appreciated.
i think youll be fine since your liftin it. im fixing to stick 35's on my 02 f350 that leveled and from what everyone has said, i may rub just a bit. but i have leaf springs. you have coilover suspension right?
welcome back and appreciate your service. BTW, which branch are you in?
Thanks for the info and the welcome back. I'm in the Navy and was aboard the USNS Comfort that was down there. Trying to get back in the swing of things, what better way to do it than to play with the truck, ha-ha.
'07 with 2.5" of lift, 4 5/8" BS wheels, 35x12.50 tires. No trac bar adjustments, and I only rub at full lock on the drivers side. No rubbing on the passenger side at all unless I compress the suspension, like when I bounce across the culvert into my driveway
Yeh, it takes some time to get readjusted. Been there done that. Im Air force. Have fun and good luck with the lift. Make sure and post some before and after pics.
