Tire Size

New Here

Just purchased a 01 X and it has aftermarket American Racing rims 16" the tire size is 305/76/16 the stering seems to be very weird, it pulls in either direction easily, my question, is this because of the tire size or is it another problem? I would like to change these out to try to acheive a more factory feel in the driving but like the look of a litte bigger rim and tire, any suggestions on size

Thanks
Danny

Do some searches....lots of threads on ball joints, steering gears, sway bar end links etc.
It's likely not your wheel and tire combo. Check your front end out to see if anything is worn first....

Thanks guys, I have spent the past 2 days reading all of these threads about roll, sway, wander and there so many things to absorb "not sure where to start" Im tninking maybe first ill tighten the steering then a balance new shocks then rear sway bar/RAS then front sway bar

Does this sound like im moving in the right direction?
