wierdest afternoon ive ever had....

well like i said it was a wierd afternoon. i went to walmart to go buy a new subwoofer and on the way back home i saw a F150 pulled off towards the median. litterally out in front of the apartments i live at. so i decided to try to help him out and pulled over and asked him what he needed he said he needed a jump start to get him goin and i said ok. so i pulled down in the the muddy median to turn towards him to give him a boost. so then i proceeded to get stuck and well the the cops pulled up asking what was goin on. and i told him what all happened. and he said i needed to either have someone pull me out or they'd have to call a tow truck to winch me out. well i couldnt find anyone to pull me out. so here came the tow truck. he pulled me out and by the time i got out the guy i was trying to help had already started walking. so half an hour later and a 80 dollar bill to get pulled out. i didnt even end up helping the guy. but the cops said they appreciated trying to help the guy and do a good deed. but after all this i just have mud on my truck to show for this.... i ended up taking the sub back to pay for the tow bill.

heres the pics...

oh so embarrassing....

this is all i have to show for the 80 bucks....

Thats sucks Chris but good try on helping a brother out. Check your insurance policy, if you have towing it usually covers $75 once a year.

You might want to check into AAA- I have the plus plan for abt $70 a year. It gives me 5 free tows a year up to 100 miles for free + lock out service- Years ago I had an old car wth a broken trunk lock- they came to where I worked and replaced it for free! You can also get discounts on rentals and hotels, Vacation planning, maps- Never regretted joining. They have less expensive plans also with most of the same benefits

State Farm has a similar road side assistance plan....and you don't have to have their insurance.
