Body Mounts and Gas tanks

Does anyone know where i can buy a set of Body Mounts and bolts? Im also putting a modular motor in the truck and im looking for a modern fuel tank that would go between the frame rails, any ideas? Thanks for the help. Matt

I know you're looking for newer, but the early mustang tank fits nicely between the rails .

I had a mid 90s Dodge Caravan tank in my 61 longbed. It had the EFI pump in the tank. Don't know how compatable it would be for a Mod motor but it fit.

standard front body mounts are used for the front. rad support has a longer bolt and spring for flex.

Matt, bought a Tank's Inc fuel tank from Yogi's. It is set up with the internal tray for EFI pumps. I am mounting it behind the rear axle and turned the crossmember around - gained an extra inch or so and the tank fits fairly well. Just need to figure out the mounting. I can look and see what the part number is. I plan on doing the mod 4.6 install. Paul

Looked at the tank this morning, model number is UT-N-T and looks like it is replaced with model UT-N-2-T, cost on the Tanks website is $215.

Acfordhawk - are you putting the filling cap in the bed or routing it elsewhere? My in-cab tank as been reconditioned but would like a little more space and distance between me and the combustibles. - Kris

Kris, I had thought about putting a fuel door on the side but think will wind up putting it in the bed to keep the body lines clean. Not planning on putting a cover on the bed. Paul
