The movie is cool but if you like to read the book is way better.

As is the case with most movies based on books. I just recently saw Salem's Lot again, rather decent movie, but book is much better.

i agree. stephen king is my favorite author, by far. i much prefer the books.

lol. i never fall asleep in the middle of a book. i have to mark my spot and put the book down so i CAN sleep.

Yes very few movies ever make the grade. The Godfather and a couple of westerns based on Louis L'amour's novels are the only ones I can think of.

Well that's normal, as you have tons of time to read a book, but the audience in a movie theater will only sit down for a few hours at most - stuff will get cut out, and other stuff will get altered to go around that omitted stuff...

i know. but look at lonesome dove! its like 8 hours! and i know what fog hes talkin bout. part of why i hate fog... lol. and as for the under carriage, i think some skid plates will do just dandy.
