Its come down to it. I either have to sell my children or sell my truck. the wife says i can't even think about selling the kids.

 

There has to be a way to rent out the kids to single dads who try to pick up single moms in the park. Just sayin'

 

That decides it then. Kids have got to go.

 

I would keep the kids then trade wife, wifes car, and old truck for new 2011. Then go find new and improved wife/ mother!

 

Selling the kids isn't a half bad idea.........lol. I know the feeling. we are trying to figure out how to part with ours too.......sucks!!!

hope you can come up with something without selling one of your children off

 

Or wait, more money probably flies out of the bank account because of the wife. Sell her first and watch that checking account plug up like a river that just got a dam built.

 

It's like the old joke about the guy who's wife had her debit card stolen. 6 months later, she asked if he had ever reported the card stolen. He says no and won't report it because whoever took it spends a lot less money than she does.

 

sounds to me like you need a crew cab! There is hope about them kids though, I have 5...but only three left at home. I moved and didn't tell them

 

Get rid of the wife and keep the truck!!!

 

Why exactly are you having to sell the truck? (If you don't mind me asking.)

Otherwise sell the truck hop on ebay and get a crew cab or a Excursion.

 

My dad said the same thing...he said he'd move out to an acreage and not say anything. Then when we try to unload the grandkids on him and mom, we're S.O.L. Smart guy though...

Who knows? Maybe your wife didn't finish what she started to say: "Your truck needs to go........so we can get an Excursion or a Crew Cab" I'm sure that's what she meant...

 

been laid off for over a year and the payments are killing us. The truck will bring in more money than our neon. and after i get back to work i will probably go out and buy an excursion possibly a crew but the excursion will fit us better. so after it sells i'm going to buy a scooter (h.d. for $2500) for the savings on fuel. i would sell the kids but i'm kind of attached to them. and the wife, i keep her around cause she's the one with the job.

 

Duck, sounds like you got a good wife. Things are rough everywhere and it doesn't look like it's getting better. Sorry to hear of your misfortune and bad luck. A mans gotta do what a mans gotta do. Sooner or later it will get better and you'll end up with more truck ! Best wishes friend, keep your head up.

Super Duty to a scooter ouch! But its life you have ups and down. You'll miss your truck but you can always replace it with something better and now that you've been through all this you'll love your next truck so much more. Good luck
