Anyone had dealings with these people i was thinking of changing my 16 inc wheels on my fire truck camper twin rear wheels but with me being in the UK its not easy to get wheels or i was thinking of having the centres cut out of the original wheels then put in some others but i will have to find out what would fit overthe hubs, drums.

Those are not widow makers. They are, as you describe, a locking ring design.
Stockton Wheel is an old company that has, to my reading on several different forums, had customer service and quality issues in recent years. The most hotly voiced complaints are on a site called the H.A.M.B, but I've also read complaints on the Stovebolt.com site (GMC/Chevy) and on the oldihc.org site (IH). What I can't know, however, is whether these complaints are a small but vocal percentage of their work volume. Here's the link to the H.A.M.B.'s Stockton thread. Cover your ears:
Stockton Wheel - THE H.A.M.B.
I know that you've mentioned on a different thread that you want chromed tubeless wheels. The wheel designs used in the states are similar or the same as designs used around the world. Have you done any Google searches to find custom wheel companies locally? That would seem to me your best answer if you are intent on doing away with the two part rims. That said, from a functional point of view there's nothing wrong with keeping the wheels just as they are as long as there is no serious rust or other damage. Stu
