Does anyone know if they make headers for a 429 in a '59 F100 with a Toyota steering box? Would really not fab a pair up.

 

It looks like there is minimal clearance between the motor mounts and where the steering box would be. I think,..... but don’t know if these would work, take a look at this and “you are on your own” disclosure.

Sanderson Headers

 

I forgot I had this, Toyota I think, notice intentional dent required in header.

This is a 429 cid in a 48 frame with a Toyota steering box. Sanderson makes headers that hug the engine. This intentional dent was to fit the steering box in the original
position. Maybe your steering box position is different. This truck uses the original straight axle.

 

I had the same configuration but with a 460 and i used the sanderson headers with no problem. Its close but they fit. I have since gone to a ifs.
