Lets see your truck RIGHT now

Got that right! The road from my house to the lake hadn't been hit with it for awhile so it was a safe to go for a quick ride.
They like to use salt and sodium chloride on the roads around here like McDonald's pours on french fries. Nasty stuff, but from your signature you know it already.
Glad you guys enjoyed the pictures - I had fun doing it.

I wouldn't take a fat chick on two inches of good ice. Agreed - eight inches is pretty safe for driving a car as long as you know where the springs, rocks and current are. Ice is always thinner near rocks those things transfer heat from above and below. Currents are just plain unpredictable.
Last year I went fishing up north and the ice was 36" thick. You can take a pulp truck loaded with drunk hippo ladies anywhere out on that.

Here's my latest...
Added the different style HVAC controller and
the baby poop brown color isn't represented properly here. But, the upholstery is done. The passenger's side is covered with a second skin so I can put my kid's carseats on the bench. The pleats are just sewn in on the cover. Pretty good match though!
the color of the dash panel is a little more representative.
