be sure to mount your power steering pump when you fab the motor mounts, the hose connections play a major factor in placement. Using those headers probably would make offsetting a little more challenging. If you decide to offset, no more than 1 3/4, I did 2 and wish I would have not, not major but would have been more clearance for my exhaust. I have done three Volare clips and found offsetting the motor to be the easiest with all interference problems, you get them both ways with this clip. Drivers side headers might pose a need for three joints in the steering linkage.

Thanks for the heads up about the P/S pump. I hadn't thought about that, since it looks like there's a ton of room up there. I was focused on the D/S header, which appeared to be the only real issue. I may even have to cut the tube for #1 and reroute it around the steering gearbox. I already knew I was going to have to cut and change the angle of the collector on that side, since the flange touches the clutch linkage pivot boss on the Lakewood bell. I'm not even sure what these Sanderson headers are designed to fit. They hit the the heater box and stock bellhousing on both the manual and automatic in the Nova I bought them for 15 years ago, but they at least bolt up here. I'm using them, regardless of how much I have to cut them.

This is what my truck looked like today. Crazy... I don't remember hauling a truck load of stuff in the shop to stack on the bed.

My cab sitting outside on a cold and rainy morning. I went out to the shop to work this morning and it was 67 degrees in there! Thought about turning on the heat.

Frame is in the shop being worked on. Don't have room for everything inside. Parts are stacked in rooms, porches and the yard.

That money thing can really slow you down! Fortunately I have acquired most of the parts over the last couple years. Hope to be done by April.
