[QUOTE="ben73058;14606411"Is that beautiful truck really going off to college sitting in the sun all day, beer drinking, sorority girls , parking lots full of the young & reckless.... Tell me it's not so Tyler. Ben in Austin 1950 F1[/QUOTE]

I know Ben, it's making me a little nauseous.

Well now Chris, that's some serious patching. I don't see how you guys do that type of work. It's a skill way beyond me.

What Joe said... Holy cow, you really know how to weld! Here's my latest find as we completed work on her today. This truck was headed for scrap when I paid 900.00 for it. It has a grand total of 3078 miles on it as of this afternoon when we winched the camper in and took it to town for fuel. It's pretty thirsty......

Cool P model. Looks like you do some vintage camping! Not sure if our firetruck camper will be ready for the vintage trailer rally in Lynden in mid September. Still need some things (like license plates) and finish up camper interior.

"right now" is now now

Here it is ready for brake-and-light certification then licensing. This is a 1951 F6. It's all stock except for the single-piece wheels from Stockton Wheel.
Behind is a 1952 F3 waiting for time.

So it says it's a 52, and has 52 hood trim, doors, gauges and speedo in a 48-50 cab. Interesting.

Animaldawg, yeah, these things seem to travel in packs. We have a '58 aloha 15' trailer as well as the Alaskan. Most folks we meet at these things seem to have an average of 4!

No wonder I can't find one! ... Hey GB, that 10ft Alaskan is just what I have been wanting to put on the 56 f600.
what supports the weight of the camper? ... from your picture it looks like its resting on the sides of the truck, not the floor.
