Ready for new wires and some loving attention this week.

Hello, I am excited to have the week off and will be spending time on my truck to get her running again. This is how she is sitting.

I love this thread, thanks, Steve

The PO used white on the valence on the front and I am not fond of it. The headlamps, crossbar and teeth are all white. I like this very much. He told me that it is a Lexus metallic blue. Too bad there is too much body work to keep it intact. I may have it repainted in the future with the same paint, once everything is solid and straight. I would like to be more deliberate with the white.

Thanks for starting the thread.

as it looks "right now"

I've just finished sand blasting and painting this pair of replacement front inner fender panels. The truck has gone without for decades. The previous owner removed them when he installed a 312Y block and some big collector type headers that needed "more room". The fronts been held
together with some bolted together rigging ever sense. I've been spraying the badly rusted fanteners and hoped to get the fenders off and these installed soon.

thanks

Hey thanks Jake08 for the kind words. I really like my 48. Its a way cool truck. I haven't driven it much. I keep messing with it plus too many other things, but I hope to make it my daily driver soon. It just needs some wiring work and some kingpins/and new bias plys and it will be good to go.

Hey Theodore so you've got a 59fridge uh? cool You asked about more photos of my 58. You can check my gallery for some build photos and here's a link to a couple Youtube vids if you're interested.
