Just ran across this CL ad for 1948 F1 panel that this guy is parting out, thought I'd pass it along...

He's had it on eBay as well. He had a pair of rear doors for $350 or best offer. I offered him $300 and he kept going back and forth. He probably already sold the doors.

I was watching it on eBay too. The rear doors disappeared at the $350 BIN price which I thought was cheap considering the shape they were in. Stu

Stu,

Did the sell with the BIN or did the auction end without anyone purchasing them?

The guy emailed some additional photos. The doors did require a lot more work than what he had pictured in the eBay ad.

Still at $350 not a bad price.

IIRC they went with the BIN option. I'm glad to know they weren't as nice as they looked. Makes me feel better for passing on them. Plus, shipping would have probably doubled the price. Stu

If the guy took my $300 offer, I was going to have my brother pick them up and store for me at his house until I was able to get them.

There'll be more.
