Jim, Be carefull with the lighted bolt design. I used them on my old Harley.
They werent very bright, (barely lit up a mc plate) and the wires were so tiny they were almost impossible to connect to anything. I tried soldering then but they were just to brittle.
I cant recall the brand, but they look similar to those pictured. (same tiny wires)

I use some of these as dome lights on my baja, they aren't REALLY low profile but they are fairly small. I don't know what color your truck is, but without the chrome piece it would blend in really well on a white truck. And they are very bright for their size

The light itself is 1 1/2" wide, 3/4" tall and protrudes out about 1". It has a base that is a little bigger than the light. I'll snap some pics and be back.

Like I said, they aren't exactly low profile, but they are a very nice little light. If you wanted you could even paint them the same color as your truck, just mask off the bottom part where the LED's are.

This pic is with the two of them on in my baja, no other lights. They each have two LED's and are very bright.
(excuse the mess, I'm in the middle of some improvements)
