I have done a lot of mods to this truck, mostly for improved longevity and reliability, not for "hot-rodding"
-Amsoil bypass oil filter
-Dieselsite coolant filter
-2008 differential cover
-Isspro gauges: pyro, boost, fuel pressure, HPOP pressure (2 on a pillar mount, and 2 on bezel cover next to the stock gauges)
-Cranckase vent mod (so no more leaking oil on the tubes)
-All new intake boots from the intercooler to the heads (from Dieselsite)
-Heater shut off valve installed so you get cool vent and A/C in the summer (this made a huge improvement)
-EBPV disconnected
-Ford AIS air filter/intake (much better for filtering the West TX dust!)
-"Zoodad" mod to get cold air from grill
-Water pump replaced, flushed coolant, now has Fleetrite anti-freeze
-Installed billet thermostat housing from Dieselsite and 203* t-stat
-Usually run Rotella Synthetic motor oil
-Synthetic Mobil One fluids in the trans and diffs
-Use 2-stroke oil in fuel to keep the injectors happy
-Overload springs on rear (dont really need them, but a buddy had them)
-Front end leveled (this early 99 had 4" blocks in the rear from the factory, so it sits nice right now)
-4" MBRP straight exhaust- no muffler or cat (no its not loud)
-DP Tuner F6 (I just installed it recently)
-12,000 pound winch and grill gaurd on front
-AM/FM CD player
-New clutch at around 120,000 just before I bought it
-Plain bench seat, rubber floor mat, no power windows or locks.
-Rear quarterpanel damaged (I have a complete white 2008 bed that I plan to install instead of fixing the old one)
-Absolutely no rust on this truck. It has lived mostly in Alpine and El Paso,TX
-Stock size tires (BF Goodrich A/T)
-Ford aluminum rims
(pics to come later)
