Unhappy Max Tires Size on a 95 F-150 4x4 without lift.

Hello All.
I have a 95 F-150 4x4 with the standard suspension, and I would like to put bigger tires on it. Can anyone tell me what the biggets tire is I can put on my truck without it hitting the wheel wells? Is it possible to put 31 X 11.5 X 15's on it with out any problems?
Or do I have to go smaller?

31x11.50s would be just fine... A lot of guys run 32x11.50s with no problems at all either.

click "user gallery" on the right hand side of this page. search for mustanggt221 . look at his pics. its a 95 f150 4x4 running 32x11.5 on stock wheels with stock suspension. i also had no running the same tires with just leveling coils on my 94 f150 2wd.

If you want a second "opinion" you could look at my gallery...I have 32x11.5 AT/S on 15x10 rims on my Bronco. Check out the pics on the dirt...the grass was back when it was new(to me--with smaller tires and stock rims) I even have at least one good "flex" pic ...and the tires never rubbed once during the entire "photoshoot"

Thanks for the reponce guys, rbrendel them pic's of your 95 extend cab really made my mind up for me. Thanks! I am really sick of seening them little 275's on my truck. Was very glad to here 32x11.5's will fit on there without a problem. Time to beef it up a bit .... akford, do you have any pic's of them 12's?
I love seeing other peoples systems. I'm running a 10" JL w3 right now, and I love too see other peoples ideas.
(its hell smashing equipment behind the seat of my standard cab, but a guys gadda have his tunes)

yo,
old blue has a nice set-up! (lol, I have the same on my 96 Bronco; Gallery pic too)
You may need to trim the plastic valence a bit; and insert some flat washers on front bumper. Most likely on driver's side.

Thanks AIM ...I choose not to reinstall the plastic air dam thingy instead of notching it when I installed the grille guard...and i just took a hack saw to the bumper instead of hasseling with shimming it out...I cut about 3/4 of an inch off the part of the bumper that raps around, then ground down the sharp ends..I havn't had any problems since....

I dont think they make 31/11.5s unless its a swamper. Usually it's 10.5 wide. My 32's fit just fine. There is a lack of suspension travel for off road use but I think the suspension bottoms out before it hits the fender. I've gone off roading, over rocks and boulders and havn't had a problem. It will rub a small amount when the steering wheel is at full lock on the radius arm. However, it's not a big deal and you're not suppose to turn the wheel against the steering stops anyway.

I just got 32x11.5x15 BFG All Terrain's on my 1992 and they don't rub, just trimmed the valance a little that's all. I got new wheels too, maybe the offset of the American Racing 15x8 makes them not hit. I don't have a gallery yet, so it should show up here.

MustangeGT221, are your wheels stock? Have you tried them off road to see if they will hit the fender? And how do they work off road?
Thanks
Lars

I've gone off road, nothing extreme but enough to know that the fenders won't rub on the tire. The suspension bottoms out first. Those are Eddie Bauer rims off the 95 EB F-150 I had before this one. 15x7.5.
