Hello everyone in the buckeye state. I will be moving in May with my girlfriend looking forward to the Ohio hospitality. Any of you guys/gals race on the ovals or drag strips?

Jim welcome to Ohio, and yes there are quite a few racers here, me i race sprint karts, out in Camden, Ohio.

So where about's are you livin ?

Just east of Canton & Akron actually. Probably 20 - 30 minutes NE of Canton right in the middle between those two larger cities in Ohio.

Are those karts dirt or asphalt? My sister and I have been racing asphalt bombers over here at the local oval, but I intended to run a dirt bomber or street stock eventually. Any kind of racing, I will participate in if I can. I can't get enough of high horsepower, rumbling V8 American engines!

Thanks, we will actually be over sooner than we first planned. We leave 2 weeks from today.

 

You get here and get settled in, we need to have an Ohio GTG

 

Bonus Man you could hit the Columbus swap meet your other half might not agree wiith that with moving stuff and all.

 

We will see how busy we are after we get there. Maybe another meet in the future I am sure though.
