You can not program the unit. It requires a CAN interface. Email me if you need programming work done. reedej@comcast.net

Im really wanting to put the Pioneer Avic-x920bt in my 2007 F-150 Lariat. But I am concerned about the rear factory dvd system. The first post on this thread says that there is an adapter out now for using the Aftemarket Nav units with the Factory rear dvd system. Can anyone tell me if this is true and where to get one, if so? Please?

The Avic-x920bt is an excellent choice as long as your not after the bluetooth.

The bt has issues and I'm still trying to resolve mine.

All other functions on the unit are excellent.

Good luck!

Does anybody knows if a Navigation unit can be installed in a 2009 Expedition EL XLT that came with a factory RES and the unit in the dash is a 6CD unit without subwoofer and without steering wheel controls for audio?

Hello I was wondering if anyone had the contact information for the H&H Distributors in Denton, TX? I am trying to find someone to program a used radio for my truck. I am in Cleveland, Ohio and my dealership keeps telling me that it isnt possible and have no recommendations.

Thanks.

samehere my dealer told me that as well...when i was speaking with them, they told me that they dont have certified technician that deals with navigation, i live in hawaii and only got one ford dealer in the entire island where i live on, so i am out of luck and have to do the same, but have you tried the bigger name ford dealers in ohio, see what they can do for you

Yeah Ive called 2 of the biggest, they keep telling me it isnt possible, even though I have read countless threads of people who have done exactly what I am trying to do. And for some reason I have seen H&H Distributors mentioned several times but noone ever puts contact informations down.

Wondering if anyone had contact info for anyone doing the programming? Ive tried the aftermarket solution and the steering wheel controls just work so poorly its not even worth having. Ive tried to contact H&H in Texas, but after leaving several messages, noone has called back.

Thanks

Reprograming Nav Radio

Try Chicago Parts and sound in Elk Grove Village IL. They reprogrammed my NAV radio that was previously installed in a different vehicle although I live right next to them so it was no need for me to ship it. Nice guys, they do a great job if you know what you want.

Yeah I had talked to them a while ago, because I am taking a radio from a CanBus vehicle and having it converted to Hardwire, they claim that they cannot do that. I am actually curious because the internet is full of people who used to offer this service and suddenly I cant find anyone to do it, so I wonder if someone got in trouble. Thanks for the info though.

As long as everyone is talking about NAV units. I get a post card every year, FMC wants to sell me a new updated disk for 199$ I do travel and have seen a need for new data but 199 is terrible.
Any options 07 El Limited
