These fog lights are not working

Are these lights standard or aftermarket. I just got this Ex last week and it seemed like the headlights were high. Then I looked and saw the fog lights and figured the headlights were pointed further out and these were for closer in.

Got any ideas? Where should I start?

My 2004 Limited has the same lights. At first I was onfused on how to turn them on, then I read the owners manual. All I had to do was pull out on the light switch and they turned on. I had been looking to see if there was a blown fuse or broken wire and just could not find anything wrong. Good luck.

LOL, I thought I was the only one who was tracing fuses and wires only to find out that you pull out on the switch.

I did all this at the used ar dealership along with the owner of the lot. He swore they were aftermarkets. While I was under the hood looking for a in-line fuse and he was looking under the bumper, my wife was reading the owners manual. I will show her this post and listen to her gloat. She can gloat she bought the Ex for me.

I'll tell you another little secret about the Excursion fog lights. You notice a fog light bulb is burned out. So you turn the truck off and turn the lights off to replace the burned out fog light bulb. Depending on how fast you move, the fog lights might or might not come on when you finish installing the new bulb and turn the fog light switch on to them. Something times out and the fog light circuit won't work again until the key is turned on.

I learned this the hard way. I thought I had replaced a burned out fog light bulb with a defective bulb.
