Crap...I slept til noon...(but then again) ...I was awake til 4 am.

I just got back from the feed store...I was disappointed to find they didn't have any artichoke plants...I bought 3 'Fooled You' jalapeno pepper plants...(a no heat jalapeno...to go with the six or seven I started from seed...and one Celebrity tomato plant...(I never bother growing them from seed,(they are ALWAYS available) but...that's the standard against which I judge all other contenders...

This year should be interesting...a beefsteak variety that is supposed to produce fruit up to 4 pounds, and a paste tomato that goes two...(I started from seed)...

Unfortunately, I forgot all about the menudo...so
..I still haven't eaten today!

The good thing is...by sleeping until noon...I've re-set my circadian rhythm to possibly allow me to play pool tonight until closing ...(instead of throwing the tournament because I wanna go home and sleep! )

Dammit....I may go eat some menudo yet!!! (I REALLY need to MAKE some! )

He kinda pisses me off anyway ..."Enjoying natures bounty"...on his private 30,000 acre ranch...

So...he was posting up pictures of his amazing catches from his private pond...including a "croppie"...I quoted that and told him he was getting senile....

 

GOOD MORNING! !!! I never did get that menudo...but I got some Scotch! (I guess I'll get some menudo tomorrow! )....OOPS! I mean today!

Don't worry about the coffee....I think I'll take a little nap first

That's a hell of an idea! Since there's no more soapbox derbies....just have them run downhill....(In case you haven't guessed....I'm not a Nascar fan)....

Sad thing is guys...I live 20 minutes away from Texas Motor Speedway....and could care less...

It's just not my bag....

You know ....I used to play basketball...but I can't stand watching it. I'd rather watch golf, hockey, or baseball...(in that order) ...but Dallas Cowboys football is king in my world...

Living so close I wish I could be into Nascar but I'm not. I lived overseas 10+ years and fell out of watching American sports.
