Good evening all-
Listening to MNF on the radio- don't get it on TV, don't know what I'm going to do next Monday?
I heard that there were 19 earthquakes in the area- maybe those 15 were more localised. Anyway, they are getting ready to inspect two area lake's dams for damage in the next few days. I'm downstream of one of them but on the shore of another lake- well 1/8 of a mile away-but I'm at a high elevation- downtown Ft. Worth would have to have 14 story high flooding before it would get ankle deep at my place. (That's why they built the lake- because of a flood in the 30's-(I think) that flooded downtown. )
But my shack isn't earthquake proof- it's so sketchy I go outside to fart so I don't blow down any walls.Lol.....Seriously, this house was never intended for long term habitation. The houses on my street were built as temporary housing for the workers building Consolondated Vultee- later to become General Dynamics- now Lockheed, where they built B 52's back in the day and my shack was built in the early 40's.
Just to be safe though- I switched from bottled beer to cans....
