I guess what I'm asking is do you still get 22 out if you only show it 25?

I didn't knock the other version. I simply stated my experience with it.

I'm glad your experience has been positive.

Keith,

I didn't try applying 25 but will do so and post the result.

Edit : Just tested the OCR from 15 PSI applied up to 40 PSI applied. I set my compressor at 15 PSI and hooked up the test gauge. The test gauge said 15 PSI. I then started slowly turning up the compressor regulator as I watched the test gauge. Once the compressor hit 22 so did the test gauge and it held there until I had the compressor turned up to 40 PSI. So from 22 PSI to 40 PSI apllied the OCR was never passing more then 22 PSI.

My pleasure Keith. I should have tested it this way the first time. Now we know.

Thanks for the test Robin. I like my homemade version and although I liked building it myself, the pressures arn't holding steady, if you know what I mean, I'm still setting my SES light and my codes are the norm. OCR is on my list for sure, clean looking gizmo..

So, it is better than ITP'S rig cause the regulator is more accurate?

It's better because it has a shiny new MAP sensor.

I honestly didn't know. That is why I asked.

My ITP OBA stops at right around 21psi. BUT- know that tuning can affect the boosht measurement. Some of my tunes show right at 21, some show a bit lower. I'm running 35psi max out of my turbo, and once I get past the set value, my Scan Gauge (reading boost from the MAP/PCM) stops climbing and sits at 21. Maybe you had a bad regulator????

If you're talking about the MAP sensor in my pic that is the original. The bottom side had always been unexposed while mounted on the stock bracket. How's it going to get dirty. I didn't even wipe it off for the pic. Besides, the MAP has nothing to do with how well an overboost regulator works.

For the Excursion guys, Clay is working on a different mounting bracket. The one in the pic does not fit real well because of the AC lines to the rear. I "made" mine work but he should be coming out with a different bracket soon.

Oh you took the picture after the map sensor was mounted.
Thanks for clearing that up.
