For now I will hold on to my old greasy nuts but will keep those in mind if I lose my original nuts.

Was at Ace today. " I brought in my nut to see you have a couple shiny ones ". The lady behind the counter didn't want to even want to see my nut. She basically said, go look over there. Cranky she was.

Got a part number of those nuts?

You just don't have the right approach Dan.

I have to go to Ace tomorrow. I'll check on the part #. They were under lock and key in the chrome section. You'll be shocked at the price for these little shiny nuts. I got a deal so I'm not complaing.

Funny story, made me laugh...

I think you should pop your hood so she can see where you keep your nuts.
...I mean, she did give them to you after all. Usually they try and take them away,

I uh, well, oh forget it. This feels wrong to say, much less think, but your nuts look good Robin.

And what happens after the 'smoke' clears and your 'nuts' are all 'Blue'... have her break out the vasoline and rub on them a little bit and they will be as shiny as 'New'....

If his nuts turn blue does that mean Candy overheated them? hehe

I may need to do that mod. I am friendly with the Ace folks by me too. I used to work there

Dan,

Part # 940896. Chrome cap nut size M6/1.0. That's what fit my E99 engine cover bracket.

And to all you others. You crack me up.

I think it has gone beyond innuendo.

Sounds like Robin and Clay need to hook up and offer a pair of shiny nuts for everyone that can afford them. Let's think of a good name for the riffraff shiny nut mod. By the way Robin, those do look real nice.
