Make sure the hoses are connected like this

I admit I'm not a modifier, but I do know how Power Assist P/S mounts.

Why someone would wish to go thru the trouble of mounting Power Assist on a truck that would have come with integral P/S, I dunno.

Plus, there are two totally different types of Power Assist, Bendix & Garrison. With one exception, none of the parts interchange.

And, all the parts are obsolete except the bushings (comes as a kit) that fit on either side of the stud on the ram...where it mounts to the draglink. This is the only part that interchanges.

hey red road my lines r hooked up right ... could it b the bolt that hooks to the steering gear arm is not in the right poss

could a 79 pump off of a F-100 cause this
