I have an 04 cc fx4 lariat that I recently purchased. I'm having a small surging issue and I'm looking to do an egr delete and arp head studs. Any recomendations on who to take it to? I'm in Somerset but I will take the truck a few hours away to get it done right.
Patrickke, a member of the Ky Chapter may be able to help you out. He has a 6.0. I don't know if he has done the work on it or if he has had someone else do it for him, but it's a very nice truck.
Edit: 2strokeman is from Somerset. He might be able to help you out too. Haven't seen him here in a while.
sbowling79, if you find a good 6.0 tech let me know. I haven't had any issues yet, however it never hurts to know where to go when problems arise. If you haven't already you should check out the 6.0 section of the forum and the Tech Folder.
There's a guy up here in N. Ky that is good with Powerstrokes. He works on all of them. Don't know if you want to drive this far for someone to work on your trucks, but let me know and I can PM you his number. He works out of his garage at home.
