Mechanical Pump

Heading back to a mechanical pump. they are 50 bucks and way easier to deal with. I am purchasing a Racor fuel filter and it is the one that has the electric self priming and electric air release with water separator. Wilson and Proctor the diesel guys have seem them used more than once on my style system. Now all i need to do is re route the fuel lines off of the gasser valve that switches flows from the two tanks and goes direct in and out the tank. I can re route the feed along the passenger frame rail and eliminate the old crap line that is in now. So when all is done, i will be way better off and free from air related priming times. They also make a priming button style that you can press with your finger like a lawnmower or chainsaw. That one is way cool too. we shall see. The plastic bowl is being replaced by a metal bowl because no one can find a plastic bowl stocked at all but they all can get metal bowls for the filters that use the screw on bowls for fuel water separation.

Can't say I blame you for going back to the trusty mechanical pump. Post up some pics of this seperator, sounds interesting.
